With the holiday season now a month past, it’s been difficult trying to plow through all the games I got thanks to the boom of new games released and old games gone on sale. Some games are just plain hard in the way of leveling up and grinding and sometimes getting strong enough for a boss fight or a navigating through a tough dungeon is just so ridiculously long and difficult I just want to throw the game away, but I don’t because I’d feel guilty about the money I spent on that game. Honestly, I just want to get through my games so I can move onto the next one: leaving one unfinished leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
Good thing we at Hyperkin are releasing new additions to our line of Game Genie products to make some games easier to get through. In addition to the Game Genie for the Nintendo DS, come April 2012, we will release one for the PS3 and the PSP. What’s really cool coming along with those two products is the release of the Save Guru, which works across multiple systems and makes uploading hacked save files easy as well as allowing for the transfer or music and movies to game consoles. Uploading cheat codes to get the infinite lives or power-ups that help players get through the hard bosses or dungeons quicker is a breeze with the Game Genie. In addition, with the ability to access an ever-expanding database of cheat codes being updated with the latest games and hacks, a pile of games that would take months to finish can be tackled in a matter of weeks, days even if all-nighters are involved.
Picking up the Game Genie takes no time at all. For the PSP version is compatible for the PSP 1000, 2000 and 3000 (sorry, it’s not compatible with the PSPgo or the upcoming PSP Vita). Some of its highlights are automatic game detection, its easy-to-use interface, as well as its access to the Game Genie cheat database at www.thegamegenie.com. All you have to do is pop in the software disc, hook up your system through the included USB cable and upload any cheat you want.
The PS3 version works pretty much the same as the PSP one. Some of its highlights are its ability to automatically reassign your profile and its ability to load, upload and back up your save data.
The Save Guru is designed like a memory-card reader which you can just insert whatever memory card that’s being used with the PSP, PS3, Wii or DS and write over save files with hacked saves that make game playing easier. The Save Guru creates back-ups of all your save data for safety purposes and writes the saves onto your memory card quickly. It also has options for uploading video and audio media files like movies and songs that can turn consoles into all-in-one media systems. In a nutshell, it highlights are its access to numerous hacked game saves, its ability to decrypt and encrypt data with automatic software designed to save and organize files across multiple game consoles, the ability to loads online media and MP3’s straight to the DS, PSP, PS3 and Wii, and its support for MPG4, AVI and AVC configuring and encoding.
The Game Genie products are an affordable addition to my gaming tools, especially considering the amount of time they’ll save in conquering my games. There’s no equal in the competition or any knock offs that can do what the Game Genie can do. Games that have been gathering dust in your collection because they were too hard can finally move to that “finished” pile thanks to the Game Genie.

The PS3 Game Genie will patch your game saves with the cheats that you select; it will also allow for you to backup your saves before applying the cheats as well.

Acefondu,There are DSi exclusive games that won’t play on the staadnrd DS/DS Lite. Obviously you lose features too like when GBA games talked to DS carts (Pokemon as a prime example). Then you lose official peripheral support like the shakey thing. So yes – This can be done. Nintendo has done it. New form factors alienating older users. Nintendo 64 did this with the memory expansion as well. Remember – Companies don’t owe you or earlier adopters diddly squat. Their allegiance lies to whoever is willing to throw more money at them. They are not your friend.

I just saw that so called list of cheat codes for the PS3 . Theres nothing there for any games I want to beat . ( Castlevania los , metal gear solid 4 , all three ninja gaidens . ) I dont even consider those to be actual cheat codes . Its no different from exploder . Where are some real cheat codes like INFINITE health, ammo, magic, money, lives, and time ? When will that USERCHEAT thing be released in the U.S. ? I hear that has real cheat codes for the PS3 .

Please understand that we are still adding more games as we get closer to launch. We have asked all of our users on Facebook and Twitter to submit games that they want cheats for, and to give us the type of cheats, and we will do the best we can to get those up for you in the future.

Will you address the issues with ps3 and the patches that render your product useless for many of the consumers who purchased it. I use the Genie to mod and hex games using your advanced mode one game for example is Borderlands 2 with recent patches this can no longer be done.

Kirt, our team is diligently looking into these issues and will make an announcement once this issues have been resolved.

Will the genie for the ps3 also be a hex editor for editing the saves or game itself? Me myself I can hex edit pretty much anything. However trying to find one for a unmodded or hacked ps3 is near impossible.
Hyperkin Media says:

The Game Genie: Save Editor for PS3 has a built in Hex Editor called Advanced Mode that will allow you to manipulate the Save Data yourself. However, the Hex Editor can only be used on games that are on our list, which you can find here: http://thegamegenie.com/ps3/

[...] Some of you might remember the Game Genie and later the Game Shark peripherals for systems such as the NES, SNES, Gameboy, Sega Genesis, and others. These cheat systems (billed as “game enhancers,” but who were they kidding?) allowed players to enter codes for things that made games easier and more fun: unlimited lives, unlimited ammo, special moves; and harder and less fun: starting with 1 life or less energy. Game Genies had something of a tough time making their way to market (a lawsuit involving the NES version stopped production for a while), but their company soon found stable footing and they are still apparently being produced today.
